"The Piaśnica Forest. A historical non-fiction comic book" written and illustrated by Tomasz Mering.
Tomasz Mering (1977) – author of illustrations, comic books, animations and graphic designer from Wejherowo. He often brings up historical subjects and draws inspiration from literature. His works have been exhibited in Poland and abroad. They were also published in the press and awarded in competitions. In 2016 he published a historical non-fiction comic book "The Piaśnica Forest" released by the Piaśnica Museum in Wejherowo. Besides his creative work he conducts comics workshops. He is a member of the Association of Polish Fine Artists (ZPAP). Double scholar of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Author’s website: mering.pl
