Piaśnica Forest

The mass graves of the victims, the cremation sites, the chapel-mausoleum, and the monument dedicated to the murdered are located about 10 km north of Wejherowo in an area of 250 hectares of forest. Today, the memorial site in the Piaśnica Forest is a place of patriotic ceremonies and a national religious sanctuary.

Place of Mass Executions During World War II

Die Massengräber der Opfer, die Verbrennungsstätten, die Kapelle-Mausoleum und das Denkmal für die Ermordeten befinden sich etwa 9 km nördlich von Wejherowo in einem 250 Hektar großen Waldgebiet. Heute ist der Wald von Piaśnica ein Ort patriotischer Zeremonien und ein nationales religiöses Heiligtum. Das Heiligtum steht unter der Obhut der Pfarrkirche Christi, des Königs, und der seligen Schwester Alicja Kotowska. Die Kirche in Wejherowo in der Narutowicza-Straße 2 verfügt über eine Kapelle, die den Märtyrern von Piaśnica gewidmet ist.
